EquiStep Team

Our herd of horses really are an integral part of the EquiStep team and include four different breeds, comprising of Dutch Warmbloods, Arabs, Thoroughbreds and Miniature Shetlands. These breeds all vary in size, temperament and personality.

We handle our horses in a natural horsemanship style, working in harmony with the horses natural instincts, this approach helps to build closer working relationships with us, borne out of trust and respect rather than force or coercion

Our ethos is for the horses to form and maintain strong relationships with us rather than the typical performance based partnerships. Just as we appreciate and respond to respect and kindness, the horse will too. They  are taught about good boundaries, fair and strong leadership from their human partners trusting them in their gentleness and having their needs listened to.
